Geokosmos to Complete a Gas Project in the Far East
GEOKOSMOS has successfully completed a new LiDAR project on the Kamchatka Peninsular, the Russian Far East, aimed at surveying a gas pipeline right of way. The customer of the project is Gazprom invest Vostok, a subsidiary company of Gazprom, the world’s largest gas company which possesses the world’s largest natural gas reserves. The project stipulates “…gas supply to the whole territory of Kamchatka Oblast. Phase 1. Gas supply to the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. GTU-2 Nizhne-Kvakchinskoye gas condensate field – automated gas distribution station of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky gas main. Pre-development of the Kshukskoye and Nizhne-Kvakchinskoye gas and condensate fields.

The Outcomes of the 8-th Annual International Conference and Exposition ‘Laser Scanning and Digital Aerial Photography. Today and Tomorrow’
The 8-th Annual International Conference and Exposition "Laser Scanning and Digital Aerial Photography. Today and Tomorrow" was held in Moscow, 10-11 December in the President Hotel. The Conference was organised by the Society of Contribution to Development of Photogrammetry & Remote Sensing (RSPRS) in co-operation with the Russian Society of Surveyors. Geokosmos Group of Companies incorporating Geokosmos, Geolidar, Geopolygon and TerraImaging, acted as General Sponsor. Geokosmos and TerraImaging Participated in the XXI Congress of the ISPRS in Beijing
GEOKOSMOS and its strategic partner TerraImaging participated in the Technical Exhibition of ISPRS 2008 hosted by the Chinese Society of Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography (CSGPC) in Beijing, 3-11 July.
